Can I be pointed to documentation on system
recovery on Red Hat 3.2 .

I have good file system backup, but have never had to recover a red hat
system. We are using logical volumes :

[eds1:/var/log] # df -m
Filesystem 1M-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda2 2950 322 2479 12% /
/dev/sda1 99 26 69 28% /boot
/dev/rootvg/LogVol00 2953 1500 1304 54% /home
none 5890 0 5890 0% /dev/shm
/dev/rootvg/LogVol01 9843 3292 6052 36% /usr
/dev/rootvg/LogVol02 2953 243 2561 9% /var
/dev/usrvg/sunxxx 16127 4729 10743 31% /sunxxx
/dev/usrvg/workxxxx 25111 9808 14538 41% /workxxxx
