I have used different versions for a while now and was happy with the way things worked out. Lately things have been getting frustrating. Some of it is not the fault of the software, too hard to keep up. i.e. my laptop barely works on Linux. So I wait for the drivers to come out. This one is more than frustrating, could be the hour and brain not working. I had to reinstall the os because the hard drive crashed. I decided to upgrade. I plugged in my usb pen drive to copy so files back on the system. I cannot find the usb drive. On older versions I would look in "/var/log/messages" to see where the system saw it and mount it manually. Newer systems would mount it for me. Now the systems sees it correctly, but I can't find it and I have no idea where the system sees it. This is what is in the log.
