Hi Again,

I've just unistalled all the htDig packages 'rpm -e --allmatches htdig', and after installed this package htdig-3.2.0b6-3.i386.rpm, and reviewed the /etc/htdig/htdig.conf, and the conf it's fine for me, later I run 'rundig' and again I got the segmentation fault:

/usr/bin/rundig: line 101: 11350 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/htfuzzy $verbo
se metaphone
/usr/bin/rundig: line 102: 11351 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/htfuzzy $verbose soundex

My O.S is Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 4.0

I don't know why you installed two htdig packages. I see only one package for it. Are you sure you have the version that matches your RedHat OS version?
Uninstall htdig with 'rpm -e --allmatches htdig'

Then reinstall only the version that matches your OS. I had no problem installing it with up2date. Did you edit /etc/htdig.conf?

I did 'rpm -qa | grep libfuzzy', but it look like isn't installed, I mean there is no any answer output, I look at redhat the dependencies and I saw libfuzzy, but I don't know where to get it, I have search for it on redhat and google, and It looks like it's come with HtDig.
What could I do ?

I did not installed using up2date.

It looks like you didn't install all the depencencies the htdig package needs. I would guess the libfuzzy package is not installed on your system. Do; 'rpm -qa | grep libfuzzy' and see if it's there. Also check the RHN web site for a list of packages that htdig needs to run and check that they are all installed on your system.

If you installed htdig using 'up2date' then the dependencies should have been installed along with the asked for packages.

Grertings,

I've installed Ht://Dig, in my i386, my S.O is Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version 4.0.
I've used the following rpms to installt the software:

htdig-3.2.0b6-3.40.1.i386.rpm
htdig-3.2.0b6-3.i386.rpm

Both rpms, I got it from redhat.com

And after of install the software I run "rundig" and I got the following error:

/usr/bin/rundig: line 101: 11350 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/htfuzzy $verbo
se metaphone
/usr/bin/rundig: line 102: 11351 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/htfuzzy $verbose soundex

What's wrong ?? and how could I fix this problem ????

Thanks for All !
