Hi there, I'm a newbie in this Linux world. And I want to play some media (mpeg,dat,mp3, etc.) in Linux. I heard about Mplayer and Xine player,etc and then I downloaded their source code, compiled and installed them successfully ( I think, 'coz no error message was displayed), but now I don't know how to make them work?
