You can try this out....

download this script,

www.garloff.de/kurt/linux/rescan-scsi-bus.sh<http://www.garloff.de/kurt/linux/rescan-scsi-bus.sh>

Set it executable

chmod 755 rescan-scsi-bus.sh

then run it, to rescan the channels

./rescan-scsi-bus.sh -c 0

or

./rescan-scsi-bus.sh -c 1
