Hi, You need to choose the appropriate authentication plugin, you can chose auxprop, sql, ldap, saslauthd. And you have selected saslauthd here. So you need to change your smtpd.conf which can be found in sasl2 directory. E.g. # smtpd.conf pwcheck_method: auxprop auxprop_plugin: sql mech_list: plain login sql_engine: mysql sql_hostnames: localhost sql_user: vmailuser sql_passwd: password123 sql_database: mail sql_select: select clear from postfix_users where email='%u@%r' and smtpaccess='Y' You need to alter your query lines as per your database structure. for any more probs do contact me.
