Ok I need some help here I am in s bind.
I have redhat 3 4 with the 64 bit kernel installed on an itanium server.
The latest release of lvm version 1 is installed.
My co worker created a volume group that is using physical volumes from an existing volume group pvscan confirms this is the case. The problem is that I cannot bring either volume group online to vgremove any of the phystcal volumes.
Is there a way outside of the lvm commands to either remove these physical volumes from these volume groups or remove these volume groups entirely so I can get the volume groups back online?
