Ok, booting from tape may not be possible I agree. But what I need is commercially supported backup solution that uses a tape drive to hold the bulk of the backup. This is for customer we sale our application to. We want to be able to recommend something. We do NOT want to provide any scripts or other programs for them to do their system backup with because we do not want to be directly responsible for it.
