Yep, totally normal, it only installs the adaptec bios extension if
there is a disk on the chain.

When I have seen this before it usually means that there is no device on

the chain that is considered a bootable device.  Nothing to worry about 
it is just a message stating that if you have something on the chain 
that is to be bootable it is not seeing it.
