RE: Keyboard is not working on compiled kerenl

Hello Guys,

Finally this problem is resolved.
The IBM BladeCentre is having 14 blades in one unit.

Each blade includes independent resources (motherboard and hard disk)
but sharing keyboard/ mouse with others.

The keyboard is shared by USB protocol by inside hardware and we were
not selecting that module previously.

It is working now as we have selected USB module in kernel
configuration.

Regards,
Sachin

Subject: Keyboard is not working on compiled kerenl

Hi,

I am trying to configure one of the blades from IBM BladeCentre ((Intel
Xeon, x86) as a 'diskless' client.

I used kernel-2.6.9-5.EL.src.rpm to configure new kernel image.

I added the entire input devices driver as a part of the kernel
(static).

The remaining modules copied in '/lib/modules/' directory of Ramdisk
image.

But still my PS/2 IBM keyboard is not working.

I am using RamDisk root file system is created using BusyBox.

Please find the attached kernel configuration file.

Could you give me any hints to resolve this issue?

Regards,

Sachin Rane
