Ok .. first let me confess not really knowing if I am asking this correctly. Second, if there are other lists where this should be just let me know. Here is what I want to do but I don't know if I need another PART? I have SMTP configured to give incoming email to postfix. postfix then puts it into the correct folder for the user in /var/spool/mail. I want to set up Thunderbird on another machine on the same LAN to retrieve email from those user mailboxes in /var/spool/mail. I would like one user on the machine I want to read the mail on to open Thunderbird, retrieve mail from 3 different user accounts on the postfix / SMTP box and put it into various folders in Thunderbird.
