Hi

You unmount with something like:

umount /dev/sda1

on some systems do:

eject /dev/sda1

That will also make sure its flushed..

Your device can be different...but if it mounts
ok u should see the device just by typing mount

And then you can mount it again...a disk would mount like:

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/disk

or if its in fstab

mount -a

Hello,

I installed RHEL 4 and i try to use USB devices. But when I plugged a
device it is ok working but after unplugged system locked I must restart
system from button.
Also I did it few times. And now when I plug USB devices system cannot
mount automatically. How can I mount USB device again? And how can I
unmount safely this device?

Thanks,
