question about LUNs and RH

We have a Dell server running RH 2.1 with filesystem that reside on an IBM FastT SAN. Ther Dell server has two QLA2300 HBAs in it, both connected to McData switches which then connect to the SAN.

On the Dell server, in /proc/scsi/qla2300, there are two files 1 and 2. File 1 contains the following information:

SCSI LUN Information:
(Id:Lun) * - indicates lun is not registered with the OS.
( 0: 0): Total reqs 1607957, Pending reqs 0, flags 0x0, 0:0:81,
( 0: 1): Total reqs 74304, Pending reqs 0, flags 0x0, 0:0:81,

File 2 only has this:
SCSI LUN Information:
(Id:Lun) * - indicates lun is not registered with the OS.

While working on an IBM related problem, the tech support is telling me that it appears that only one path is working on the Dell box. We do get an error saying that everything is being forced to the B controller on the array for the Dell.

I'm not very skilled in this area - does any of this make sense?
