how to patch redhat source rpm

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

hi,
can any one give a clue or point me to the redhat docs
about how to patch a redhat source? what i need is to
patch bound-check extension for gcc.

i though that i could be able to download the src of
gcc (and related), download the
bounds-check-<version>patch, then modify (how to
modify the spec is what i needed) the rpm SPEC (or
patch manually) and should be able to build a patch
rpm binary. - simply minded?

many thanks

cheng
