You can get it to work but you won't get support from Red Hat.
Assuming that those filesystems are supported in the Red Hat provided
kernel, in a properly licensed/paid-for-support scenario, why would Red
Hat not provide support?
To answer Rik's question...since XFS is supported in the Fedora Core line,
one can assume support for that FS in the RHEL line (the 2.6.x kernel
based line).
At install time, you can specify "linux xfs", and options will then be
presented that will allow you to format your filesystems in XFS.
