Subject: LVM question

I would like to use the LVM feature of Red Hat. The RHCE document says
that LVM code is new to Red Hat and may not be fully supported at the
time of writing the document. They also mentioned to check Red Hat
sponsored mailing list about the latest status. I would like to know how
good it is to use LVM of red hat. Is it fully supported now? Has LVM
developed into a matured utility in Red Hat? Please let me know.

Reply:

We're using LVM here, but we went up to RHES 4.0 to get LVM2. LVM1 did not
support sharing disks across to servers. LVM2 does. Can't speak to Redhat
support as we haven't had to use it on LVM yet...
