help " how can i Add/deleting an entry in the Routing table."

hi all,

 I want to add/delete  entry to/from unix routing table, using
ioctl(..., SIOCADDRT, ...).and ioctl(..., SIOCDELRT, ...).

I am using red-hat linux 9. Can anyone give me an working example of
such program
