exactly my problem! I modified my modules and it booted smoothly - however, I did not find anything in the changelogs.

My modules.conf and modprobe.conf for all the people who look for the same problem (Red Hat 4 EL / ES on DELL PowerEdge 1800 with Perc 4i):
