ps  -ef | grep 19924 should quickly
show you what they are.

kill -9 19774
kill -9 19924

should eradicate the problem and let you unmount the drive.

It just amazes me how I, a programmer who thinks the sysadmin is "that guy over there" can successfully set up a working local staging environment and remain so totally ignorant. :)
