Partion Magic asks for $$, qtparted can do the same job lot better,
use version 1.9 onwards, it supports FAT, NTFS , ext2 and ext3, the
best i can tell u is download a 100 MB ISO from
http://www.sysresccd.org/, burn it, boot it with and run qtparted, a
GUI interface, click and partion .....

use NTFS for XP...
