RE: Is there a list for RHCE candidates?

Hi People,

I can't find a mailing list for people who are studying towards their
RHCE exam. If there is something out there of this type of newsgroup,
could someone let me know?

If not, is there any interest out there for creating a RHCE/RHCT
candidates group?

I am not interested in creating an "RHCE braindump", which is unethical
and illegal, and would devalue the certification, as many MCSE's have
found out. But I would be interested in communicating with other
candidates of the RHCT/RHCE exams. We could exchange practice exam
scenarios, and the like.

I have attempted the RHCE exam several times now, and have trouble with
the advanced debugging section. So within the context of the exam rules,
I would like to share my experience with others.

One bitch I have with the exam paper is that it is ridiculously
complicated, mixing the compulsory and non-compulsory objectives. I do
far better in real-world debugging and system admin. Also, I have the
type of mind that can work on problems unconsiously while I am working
on a current problem. So the solution often occurs to me after I have
finished a section. In other words, I can debug a system just as fast as
someone else, but may do it in a different order. Exam rules are exam
rules, but I can't help but wonder if there are other people out there
like me who feel that they have the skills to pass the exam, but that
the exam structure is too artificial to be an accurate test of their
skills.
