Which rhes3? The 64 bit one? Or the 32bit one? I have 3 x 1850s and 1 x 2850 all work with the e1000 fine, even kickstarting. So I suspect you have the wrong rhes version. Also try getting updated isos for update 3? Or 2? I forget.
