Hi David,

I cannot seem to make this work. I am attempting to login with SSH

You must have the following line to make things easier;
# Session management
login session required /usr/lib/security/libpam_mkdir.1 skel=/etc/skel/ umask=0022


Try to add these lines on /etc/pam.d/sshd and as well as /etc/pam.d/login.

Hopes it works,keeping my fingers crossed.......

N.S:
   I have done it on HP-UX. But never tried on Linux.
