Utility to delete old mail messages

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,
Anyone knows any utility to delete old mail messages by connecting to IMAP (or
POP) server and delete the messages there ?
So for example I can specify: "Delete messages older than Jan 1, 2005", or
"Delete messages between Aug 1, 2004 and Dec 21, 2005", etc.

I know about procmail, mailflter, mboxgrep but it does not seem natural to me
to use procmail-like or regex-like language to specify dates. Well, quite
honestly I'm not sure how to do what I want with those utilities, if possible
<grin>. So if someone has example for that, that'd be great too.

Thanks
RDB
