From the discussions on the web pages, this appears to be a problem
with a certain set of XFree86 programs. I will upgrade the system and
see if the problems persist.

2.4.20-30.9, the screen freezes up.

We haven't had problems with various versions of Tecplot on Dell
stations running various versions of RedHat.
