Thanks a lot for your information. It's work.
But I don't know what's wrong with this service.
I want to start it automatically.

Hi

This is not a perfect answer by any stretch, but here goes....
( Please note I am using RH7.3) Its not the same as yours, but
I thought it good to share anyway.....

I notices the same, but when I go to the DIR where the executable is ( say /usr/sbin ) I run it from there ( ./vncserver )
and it works. Maybe you can give it a try ??

As for a explanation for this, I did not take the time to go into that...

Best !

Subject: Cannot start VNCserver

Hi everyone,
I'm using RedHat ES3. After I installed it and update some packages including VNC. I cannot start vncserver service. When I use

# service vnc start

it shows [ok] status

but when I look at it's status, it shows me "Xvnc stop"

Can anyone tell me why? How can I solve this problem?
