Hello, I know this is maybe rather OT but I'm just wondering if there are others who shared the same experience. When I tried to start firefox from a remote server (ie. ssh to the server and type 'firefox' at the console), firefox-1.0 starts really really slow compares to older version (ie. ver. 0.8). On a 100Mb LAN, firefox-1.0 takes about 1.5 minutes to load on my screen if I start it from the remote server and then export the X back to local desktop. The same server and everything, firefox-0.8 takes only 3 seconds. After it starts, it works pretty find though, but just the start up time is really long. If I walk to the server room and start firefox-1.0 there, it'd start just fine (no slowness in startup). Anyone experiencing this? Thanks. RDB -- Reuben D. Budiardja Dept.
