I don't know why my smb service has 2 pid when I called its status
smbd (pid 7534 7530) is running .... nmbd (pid 7535) is running ....
Normal....
If you did something like....
ps -eaf|grep smb
you would see something like....
root 5110 1 0 Jan20 ? 00:00:00 /usr/local/samba/sbin/smbd -D
root 5114 5110 0 Jan20 ? 00:00:00 /usr/local/samba/sbin/smbd -D
Note the 5114 process is a child of the 5110 process....
Is there somethings wrong? I also have VMware installed. I'm not sure if it related?
Unrelated...
