Try "/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start" if you installed from source or "/sbin/apachectl start" if you installed rpm's. Everything OK with this step ! Now, I have to check what's wrong (I get the same message) when trying to go to SWAT or printing (http://127.0.0.1:901 or :631) ...
