some nice commands

FYI.
example of tar to list , found it from one of my friends
=> listing archive.

/usr/local/gnu/bin/tar -z --list --file=/juno/defunct/users/lsundar.tar.gz

=> extracting particular file/directory from archive.

/usr/local/gnu/bin/tar --verbose -z --extract --file=/juno/defunct/users/gmukesh.tar.gz homefs/mnt/gmukesh/.www/presentation/new-hire-training
