First of all, notice that there's fedora-list:

  http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
 
Then, there are HOWTOs and FAQs, such as:

As an alternative to apt-get, take a look at "yum". And you would also
be able to install the package and all its dependencies automatically
with "up2date w3c-libwww-apps". yum and up2date are included with Fedora
Core
