Re: .pop

You know, normally I wouldn't, but this one just begs for it:

1) Dunccs, who appointed you the list moderator?

2) Perhaps, for this user, this actually was a "nutcracker issue".

3) Have you tried to Google for ".pop"? For kicks, I just did, and got
108,000,000 results, none of which actually seemed to refer to ".pop".

Just to be clear, please see

http://www.google.com/search?q=%22.pop%22&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

to see what I got in a search for ".pop"...and the results weren't any
better when I searched for "how to view or remove .pop account".

It's all well and good to suggest using google to search for easy/common
issues. However, in all the years I've been running Red Hat products,
I've never run into this issue. It is quite possible that I, and others
on the list, might have been interested in reading an actual answer to the
question.

Perhaps, next time, before you simply spout off that people should "USE
GOOGLE", you might try to google the topic, yourself, to see if it's even
a relevant suggestion, and if it is, maybe you can do like I did, and copy
the resulting URL so that the original requestor can see how useful such a
search might be.

And if it turns out that simply suggesting google isn't the simple
alternative that you believed it to be, you might actually offer some
useful advice on the issue...or, if you don't have an answer, don't offer
a response at all.
