We also just bought a couple of new PowerEdge machines (2850) we were
able
to get Red Hat ES up and running using the included Server Assistant
software
from Dell. The machine has been up for 1 month with absolutely no
problems. I
did have to install ES 3.0 then just did a Red Hat Network upgrade and
now
it is running the latest kernel and such. Did you get a CD from Dell
for setting up the server?

You've bought RHEL 3 installation support if you've bought the media.
Did you log a call with Red Hat?
