GFS question ?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
We wish to install GFS on 3 x individual (but networked in the domain)
servers to share a single SAN volume. I realise that you need to give a
cluster name and run the ccs daemon but do the servers need to be fully
clustered ?

I know this is a big open ended question but we just wish to know is it
possible to mount GFS volumes on individual servers to use the disk
space more efficiently. We do not want to use NFS do to a higher risk of
singe point of failure.

Thanks for your time
Adrian
