It's dirty but it's working: add the line PATH=$PATH:/usr/java/jre1.5.0/bin at the end of your /etc/bashrc
2.iam not able to shutdown the system using shutdown command.the responce is "command not found".
You need to be root the comment reboot or halt are working too.
