Greetings to all,

I wanna know how can I run GNOME and KDE at a simulataneous time , I know that I can run them on different virtual terminals ( <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<FnKey> ) , for that I need to change some lines in /etc/inittab file , But I am not sure where to make the changes , can any one please tell me where to change the entries...

I think I need to comment these lines
-----
# Run gettys in standard runlevels
1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty1
2:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty2
3:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty3
4:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty4
5:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty5
6:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty6
----
If I comment the 6th line , I should be able to run startx :1 , but I cannot, Any one taking ????

Thanks,
Nikhil.
