cat /proc/meminfo for memory
dmesg|grep -i <keyword>    for a lot else

I'm sure there are guis. Search sourceforge.

have in my Linux box with opening it?



For CPU, cat /proc/cpuinfo. Remember that dual-core cpus get listed twice. For memory, I know of no reliable way.
