OK,

I was able to successfully mount and use my Ipod. I was using gtkpod to xfer MP3s onto my Ipod and it had successfully imported the songs over. I was in the process of updating the tags on some mp3s when my PC locked up. I was forced to reboot and every since I can't get my Ipod to mount. Below are some outputs that may be useful.

I am running RedHat9
And I've tried rebooting, witht he device plugged in and without it plugged in.

sudo mount -t vfat /dev/sda2 /mnt/Ipod Password: mount: /dev/sda2 is not a valid block device

sudo /sbin/fdisk -l :

I have tried everything I did to make it work and I cant get it working again.

Anyone have any ideas? Also I need to set it up so I can umount the Ipod when I get ready to remove it from the PC. Everytime I try to umount it, I get a "can not unmount, device is busy error"
