AIC-7902 HostRAID Red Hat 9

Hello,

Is source code available for the Adaptec HostRAID for the 7902 chip for Red Hat 9?

We want to build a custom RedHat 9 kernel and the disk is installed on a RAID-1 connected to an Adaptec AIC-7902 (with HostRAID enabled).

I see the driver floppy for RedHat 9 on the Adaptec website so we should be able to install RedHat 9 onto the RAID-1 (booting with 'linux dd'). What happens when we boot up and build a custom kernel though? I will have to choose Adaptec 7902 WITH HostRAID to put into my kernel and it wont be there??? I see an RPM file on the Adaptec Website but I am not sure I can install the RPM into my custom RedHat 9 kernel.

Please Advise.

Thanks,
