NFSymlinks

Never had occasion to try this before, but is there any way that a symlink in an NFS share, that points to a directory outside the shared directory can be made to appear to the client as simply part of the share. IOW, resolve the link before sharing it?

I'm guessing this is not possible, but it would be very useful to be able to do so in this context. Is there any way to achieve this?
