I've had problems with MailScanner that seem to stem from having to do two installs of postfix. I've been evaluating amavis-new, and it seems to be more efficient so far. (No, no objective evidence, but my test system doesn't seem to bog down as much under test loads.) The only problem I've had so far with amavis-new is trying to figure out how to get Razor working.
