Could please someone help me.
I don't know more where to look for...
OS: Fedora 3

# httpd -v
Server version: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix)
Server built: Dec 2 2004 15:14:09

# httpd -t
[Thu Dec 2 17:06:41 2004] [alert] httpd: Could not determine the server's
fully qualified domain name, using SERVER_IP for ServerName
Syntax OK

# grep ServerName httpd.conf
ServerName XXXX

# grep XXXX /etc/host
SERVER_IP XXXX

# more /etc/resolv.conf
; generated by /sbin/dhclient-script
search com.br
nameserver DNS_IP_1
nameserver DNS_IP_2

# nslookup XXXX
Note: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.
Server: XXXX
Address: XXXX #53

Name: XXXX .com.br
Address: SERVER_IP

I need the server_name be only the host name without the .com.br for my
intranet.
why does the httpd don't accept this configuration?

Regards,

Diego Brito Veiga
