Hello all, We are experiencing problems with the services in a cluster (# cat /etc/redhat-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon Update 1) # rpm -qa|grep clu redhat-config-cluster-1.0.1-4) One of the services gets down several times a day, and in /etc/log/messages we can see: Nov 5 15:00:00 hostname clusvcmgrd: [31162]: <err> service error: IP address 172.18.132.148 missing Nov 5 15:00:00 hostname clusvcmgrd: [31162]: <err> service error: 0: error fetching interface information: Device not found Nov 5 15:00:00 hostname clusvcmgrd: [31162]: <err> service error: Check status failed on IP addresses for FDServ1 Nov 5 15:00:00 hostname clusvcmgrd[31161]: <warning> Restarting locally failed service Serv1 Nov 5 15:00:00 hostname clusvcmgrd: [31283]: <notice> service notice: Stopping service Serv1 ... This "missing IP" is a virtual IP for the service Serv1. Does anybody knows the reason the cluster misses an IP?
