Requesting the values of MIB

Hai,

   I gave the command 

    "snmpget -v 1 -c public localhost sysUpTime.0" 

    its is giving the no.of clockticks.The same command is working for every objectID in SNMPv2-MIB.But when i gave

    " snmpget -v 1 -c public localhost ipForwarding.0" 

  ipForwarding is the objectID of IP-MIB.it's giving 'no such name'.

   can anybody tell me how to get the values of objectID's in IP,ICMP,UDP MIB's..
