first, as root, do chkconfig dhcpd on
and then service dhcpd start
Next time you reboot, your dhcp service will automaticly be started.

In my Redhat 9 , When i reboot linux server all clients didn't get dhcp ip.
after i type this command #dhcpd or dhcpd -f , all clients got it .THis is why ,I don't want to do this command anyway.
What is the best way to get automactively dhcp ip from my linux dhcp server.
