I'd recommend the mirror perl app:

http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/MByName.html

Either mirror-2.9-12 or mirror-2.9-2.2.0 should do the trick ... I'd
probably go with 2.9-12 if your running RedHat 9 or lower. Mirror
supports push and pull ftp data exchanging and you can schedule it to
run by adding a line in the crontab, like so:

00 23 * * 1-5 root mirror <dir where config file is
located>/data.mirror.cfg

Provided documentation will guide you in setting up a config file.

Hi,

im backing up my data on a backup folder on my machine and every week i
ftp and download the backup folder manually to my local pc in case of
hard drive failure, can anyone advice me how i can automaticly add a
cron job or script to ftp from my server to a machine and push my backup
folder to the remote machine automaticly every week??
