Devon,

Here is the steps to configure same:

1) Install and configure sendmail on Linux, as you normally do.
2) Install and configure the Server for NIS on your Windows DC.
3) Configure the linux PC as NIS client of NIS Server running on Windows DC.
4) Create unix attributes for users, using Active Directory users and
computers tool
(You will find Unix Attributes tab, once you install Server for NIS)

Cheers..

Couldn't find a list for sendmail, only sendmail-announce. Can someone
point me in the right direction?

There has got to be a simple HOW-TO out there that explains step by step how
to let sendmail allow an Active Directory user to send outgoing mail.

Hi,

I have done this at my work place.

For Server for NIS installation and configuration, check the following URL

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/sfu/default.asp

It contains detailed document of how to implement and configure.

Cheerss.
