Since the upgrade to kernal 2.6.8-1 when I boot I am seeing messages such as .... ifup: WARNING: /etc/modprobe.conf line 2: ignoring bad line starting with 'alias' pcmcia: WARNING: /etc/modprobe.conf line 2: ignoring bad line starting with 'alias' cardmgr[1515]: + WARNING: /etc/modprobe.conf line 2: ignoring bad line starting with 'alias' modprobe: WARNING: /etc/modprobe.conf line 2: ignoring bad line starting with 'alias' This occurs even if I boot with the older 2.6.5-1 kernal. All appears to be working fine despite the warnings. Anyone have a clue as to what is going on here? Thanks john -- ############################################# # John N.
