HI, I think old boxes have their right to be alive. ^_^ So please help me with my old 3DLab Permedia II card ( Creative Extreame). I setup RH9 automatically, and don't know how to customize the X and drivers. I remember that, year ago when I tried on FreeBSD, there was various X executions or drivers for various card, one was the X3dlab or something for my Permedia II card. is there one in RH9?? And, the GUI seems a bit slow in my box, at least, it's slower than WIN, so is there an option to set hardware accelerating for X or Gnome? And, how to set hardware accelerating for OpenGL? I run a 3d game, it uses Mesa as driver but it's very sloooooooooooooow. My card is that slow, it must used software driver and didnot dig out all my card's performance, how to make my card work?
