Yeah, I seen that. Thats why i mentioned in there no themes... LOL. So at
least we are looking around the same track. I think with how much my friend
likes star trek, this would be great for her. and a nice suprise. With the
touch screen, it adds a nice touch. As soon as I can find a good app for
this, I will be decorating the monitor to look more like a PADD. It helps
its a flat screen, so it's perfect for the project.

I was looking at doing something like this, although I don't have touch
screen, but just a desktop with LCARS look alike (the buttons, windows
frame,
etc). FVWM might be customizable enough to do it but it may take a whole lot
of configuration / programming to do, so I dropped it (since I didn't have
much spare time ). I'll be interested to hear what you come up with.

There's also a KDE Theme:

but the buttons are just wallpaper so it can't do anything. I don't like it.
